Woke up early this morning, but didn’t sleep well last night. Didn’t eat breakfast and wanted to go to the supermarket, but it was too early and the doors were still closed. So I headed to the school instead. There wasn’t much food available, so I grabbed a cup of coffee with soup to get some energy.
Later, I went to the tennis court with a friend from Vietnam. Serving is really tough; even though it looks simple in videos, it’s hard to do in practice. I served a lot of balls, and only a few were satisfactory. I didn’t feel particularly excited, but there was a bit of novelty.
After playing, I rode my bike back to the office to start work. I thought I had finished the previous revisions, but the reviewers asked for quantitative comparisons, so I recalculated a lot of data in the afternoon and drew a graph.
Then I played tennis again with colleagues. The ball was flying everywhere, and I wasn’t feeling particularly happy. Another tennis friend, Wen Shuai, invited me to join them. The rain started pouring down, so we had to leave. We chatted all the way, and Wen Shuai talked about his previous studies in reinforcement learning and imitation learning, which I learned quite a bit about.
Back at the Kida office building, I continued working until around 7 PM. Then I went to the supermarket to buy daily necessities, trying to spend as little money as possible.
After getting home, I realized I hadn’t eaten well today, so I decided to cook my favorite meal: cucumber, red pepper, stir-fried meat, and rice. I ate while watching a stand-up comedy show, which was quite interesting.
I continued working late at night and finished that graph. I really like how it turned out; it’s been a while since I felt this happy. Writing this diary is also going fast now; I don’t need to type anymore, just speak and it gets recorded.
I realized I’ve been spending too much time in the bathroom, sitting too long, and scrolling through short videos. I plan to keep it under ten minutes in the future. I’ll rest well tonight and hope to sleep well. I’m not going to the school tomorrow; I’ll continue working. Hope tomorrow is another wonderful day.
